Sustaining Altruists are very important to Walking In Authority (WIA) Teen Council (a 501(c)3 non-profit organization) as they help us plan and budget for our Core Program as well as supplemental programs. They also give us leverage when employing programs that bring youth together with the goal of positively advancing education, economic development, accountability, and responsibility for increasing safety in schools and the community. We understand that timing is everything and not everyone is able to be a Sustaining Altruist. One Time Donors also show their support, and play an important role in ensuring that WIA Teen Council is properly equipped with monetary support to provide educational and first class experiences.
The use of funds are governed by the Board of Directors to enhance every aspect of learning.
